I owe roughly 80K to credit cards and debt recovery in the uk. Lets say I sold my house then invested the equity in a company in Austrailia which brought, sold and rented property. Now lets say I go bankrupt.

Would I be liable or, could the Australian company be forced to sell the houses if I was not connected (ie a director) to the company in Australia?

I am thinking of declaring myself bankrupt do i have to declare that i was made bankrupt 15yrs ago?
