Question:
I went bankrupt just over 3 years ago, but was discharged after only about a year but still have terrible time trying to get any sort of credit!
I was wondering who I write to, I read that you can contact experian etc sending a copy of your release but how do I find out all that needs to be contacted what the addresses are and what I need to put in the letter and who it needs to be addressed to etc? and will doing this make any difference to my credit?
Many thanks
Answer:
You need to send a copy of the bankruptcy discharge to the credit agencies, Experian, Equifax and Call Credit.
This way they can update their records to show the bankruptcy as discharged. Their web sites should give information on how to do this.
Thank you for letting me help you.
