Question:

made my self bankrupt in march have three charging orders on thefree hold pub the pub is in neg equite so when thay sell the pub the charging orders will not be coverd, is this correct, and will this be part of the bankrupt, also have achariging order on the house, that is 100k in neg equite, hae told the mortage company, thay have reduced payments by over a half, and am 20k in arrears,so the house will nver covr the loan/arrears/charging order, so when we mve or get repo there will be a massive short full as i under standt his is part of the bankruptsy? the only new debt is the none payment of mortage, and if i give back the keys/ or dont pay the mortage,i will make my self volontrey home less, and will not get help with housig.

so why do creidttors wast time and money putting a charge on a property with no hope of getting there money back

and also this is for the record i have a firms van that i need for work ts worth nout i put it down on the asset sheet hoping to keep it to return to work so we could keep a roof over our heads but because its not m.o.t ed thay have to srap it,because it a safty problem.
i e some one could bump into it walking. and sue the OR, MAD OR WHAT. SO I GOT ONE WEEK TO M,O,T IT with no job or money?

Answer:

I am sorry to hear of your situation.

As to why creditors place charging orders against property, that is to secure their interests and make the debt secured now and cannot be discharged in bankruptcy.

You may want to speak to the receiver in your bankruptcy regarding the van to explain your situation in more detail.

Thank you for letting me help you.
