Question: Bankrupt on 30th june this year.self employed .rented accomodation.single.
Had a liability granted on 28th june this year for current council tax .is this included in bankruptcy?
Answer: While you can include previous years council taxes in bankruptcy, you CANNOT include the current year; so you are still liable for the taxes owed from this year.
