Am I Liable For My Repossession Shortfall?

Question: I was made bankrupt on July 9th 2009 so am now a discharged bankrupt, I received a letter today from capQuest mortgage service ltd saying that my house, which was repossessed (mortgage and loans all included in the bankruptcy) has now been sold but there is a considerable shortfall and basically how did I want to pay this off, can they make me pay, i thought if loans etc included in the bankruptcy then they cannot make me pay.
They are also phoning me asking how I intend to pay.
Can you please set my mind at rest am I liable or not.
Thanks

Answer: You can advise the mortgage company that you were made bankrupt and any shortfall was to be included in your bankruptcy.

You are not liable for the shortfall.

Jon
