Can I Do A Runner?

Question:

If we left debts in the uk would this stop us from travelling in and out of the uk ?? I dont ant to go bankrupt as we have assets abroad and want to start again what if we dont tell anyone where we are going ??

Answer:

There are no travel restrictions due to being in debt. However, your creditors may chase you outside the UK for payment(s) and if they make you bankrupt, or sell the debt to a collection agency in the country you have left for, they could go after any assets at that time, including assets in other countries.

Thank you for letting me help you.
