What Debts Can Be Included In Bankruptcy?

Question:

I am considering going bankrupt but don’t know where to start.

What debts can and cannot be included in the bankruptcy?

Answer:

In bankruptcy all your unsecured debts are included.

This is not limited to credit cards, overdrafts or loans, but can include previous years council taxes, rent arrears (if you plan on moving), utility bills (if you have another provider) and anyone you may owe.

You may want to get some help with your bankruptcy if you are unsure as to the process and the forms.
