Inheritance After Bankruptcy

Question:

Hi i have just been discharged from bankruptcy and i was wondering if any early inheritance i recieve from my parnets would be liable to be given to the insolvency agency? also i am still on a nil tax coding for my wages? is this right or do i need to contact someone regarding this? if so whom? many thanks

Answer:

Once the bankruptcy has been discharged it is over and you are not under the restrictions of bankruptcy, so any monies you receive are yours. The NT tax code will continue until the current tax year ends.

Thank you for letting me help you.
