How Long to Receive Bankruptcy Discharge?

Question:

I recently recieved a letter from the OR saying they were starting to proceed with my discharge. How long am I looking at before the discharge is done.

Answer:

You usually receive a discharge after being in bankruptcy 12 months unless a restriction order has been placed; you can receive an early discharge in some instances. I cannot say a time-frame for you as there can be many factors involved. You may want to speak to the OR and inquire as to this.

Thank you for letting me help you.
